Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound steak medium rare
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 tablespoon sugar brown sugar
  • 1 lemongrass thinly sliced
  • Toasted rice powder
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 small red chili finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the dressing by combining lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Taste and adjust the flavors if needed.
  2. Slice the steak against the grain and place in a large salad bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the steak.
  3. Toss everything together so that the flavors blend.
  4. Serve immediately, garnished with extra fresh herbs or chopped peanuts if desired.
