Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak medium rare
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 tablespoon sugar brown sugar
  • 1 lemongrass thinly sliced
  • Toasted rice powder
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 small red chili finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)

Instructions

  • Prepare the dressing by combining lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Taste and adjust the flavors if needed.
  • Slice the steak against the grain and place in a large salad bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the steak.
  • Toss everything together so that the flavors blend.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra fresh herbs or chopped peanuts if desired.
