How I make my sweet fish sauce with roasted peanuts aka Tirk Trey Paam. Adjust to taste. I like mine with fresh lime juice (for that natural vitamin C) and less on the sweet side. This sauce is actually versatile and is commonly used with baked/fish wrap, dry rice noodle, meat stuffed crepes, and so much more! Store it in the refrigerator for days or even weeks. Recipe for this Sweet Fish Sauce/Tirk Trey Pam: Roast some peanuts 1 cup hot water 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup fresh lime juice 1/4 cup fish sauce ( more or less depending on the brand) 1/4 tsp salt or 1/2 tsp for less fish sauce 1 tsp msg — optional 1 tbsp distilled white or rice vinegar Mince some garlic and chili. Mix. Add peanut. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup fish sauce more or less depending on the brand
- 1/4 tsp salt or 1/2 tsp for less fish sauce
- 1 tsp msg — optional
- 1/4 cup distilled white or rice vinegar
- Roasted peanuts coarsely crushed
- Minced garlic
- Fresh chili to taste
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients. Mix well and enjoy it with some fresh spring rolls!
