Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked salmon
  • 2 cup imitation crab meat
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 lime juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • nori
  • roasted sesame seeds
  • sriracha sauce

Method

  1. In a baking pan, add about 4-5 cups cold cooked rice, sugar, and vinegar. If you have miri, you can substitute the sugar and vinegar with 1 tablespoon miri.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked salmon and imitation crab meat, and shred them together.
  4. Add in sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, soy sauce, and sesame oil, and mix in with the salmon and crab meat.
  5. Sprinkle some crush nori over rice and spread the salmon mixture over the rice in a baking dish, creating an even layer.
  6. Drizzle Japanese barbeque sauce and sriracha over the layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with nori strips, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. You can enjoy it as is or with additional soy sauce for dipping.
  10. This sushi bake offers a delicious twist on traditional sushi flavors. Enjoy!
